Yankee Springs Recreation Area - This wonderful park's 5,000 acres were naturally sculpted by glacers into rugged terrain, bogs, marshes, nine lakes, kettles, numerous creeks, and abundant wildlife.

Gun Lake - The crown jewel in a chain of lakes within Yankee Springs Recreation, Gun Lake offers 90 miles of shoreline with beaches, public boat launches, camping and picnic areas. Several more campgrounds are within the recreation area and on adjoining private property.

Fredrick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park - These stunning gardens and sculpture park are about one hour north of Circle Pines (see for directions). The unique collection of scenic gardens cover about 125 acres and the impressive sculptures located throughout the Gardens are designed by some of today's most renowned sculptors.

Antiquing - You'll find a wide range of antiquing options in the small towns that dot southwest Michigan.

Malls - If you're not in the mood for camping or crafts, turn to the great American passtime -- shopping! You'll find all sorts of malls around Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids.
